About the origin

Wazuka, Kyoto, is a principal growing region for Uji tea.
Of all the crude tea produced in Kyoto Prefecture, 44.8% comes from this town.

Organic leaves grown in the rich soil of Japan, oxidised slowly and carefully into a fragrant wakocha leaf tea. Low in astringency, with a roundness on the palate that is surprising — particular to Japanese black tea.
