The texture of the clay, the way the glaze settles, and the feel of the painted decoration differ from cup to cup, so each carries its own character.
Their warmth brings a natural colour to the daily tea hour.
“Tokai” is the work of the potter Sakae Sakuma.

* Yachimun is made to be enjoyed for the character of its clay and glaze.
Variations in glaze depth and flow, colour unevenness, the texture of the clay, small specks, and differences in firing colour may occur.
Differences in how the decoration and pattern appear, and slight variations in finish around the rim and base, may also be seen.
Please enjoy these as the character of each piece.
Dry thoroughly after use before storing.
